Account Coordinator Wanted
New business means new work. And the amount of new work we are getting means we need to hire more people to do it.
Himmelrich PR is looking for an experienced public relations professional to handle media and promotions for our clients in Baltimore and around the country.
The Account Coordinator will:
- identify opportunities for media coverage;
- write press materials;
- determine media strategies, plans and schedules;
- develop media relationships and pursue placements;
- initiate, plan and manage promotions;
- coordinate traditional, online and social media activities.
We are looking for someone who:
- has 2-4 years of experience working with the media;
- is a strong (and speedy) writer;
- knows social media
- is obsessed with deadlines, details and accuracy;
- can calmly handle lots of things all happening at the same time;
- plays well with others.
The Account Coordinator must be available for frequent weekend travel to client events.
